Company
Our Name
Was Ich Tun Sollte
What I ought to do.
WITS takes its name from the initials of the German phrase "Was Ich Tun Sollte", meaning "what I ought to do".
Our CEO, Kazusa Katayama, spent his twenties in Germany. As a player, and then as the first Japanese manager in the history of Germany's top baseball league, he walked a path no other Japanese person had taken.
That experience means there are things only he can do, and doing them is what he ought to do. The name WITS carries that conviction.
